This wildly ethnic box is handmade, made of date leaves and goat leather, by a group of craftswomen living in a remote oasis in Upper Egypt, near the Red Sea, called Shalateen. Known for their know-how in natural palm leaf and leather weaving, this community of artisans perpetuates nomadic traditions by sitting in the shade of palm trees to bring life to the previously dried palm leaves.

Each piece is unique, crafted with care and passion, making it a true artisanal treasure. This box is not just an object, but a reflection of a culture and know-how passed down from generation to generation.
