Papyrus Eye of Horus

Sale price€30,00

Tax included.

This Egyptian papyrus is made in Egypt, in the Nile Delta, with the emblematic papyrus plant according to the original method. It is then painted in mixed media combining different techniques (block print, Indian ink, oil painting, gold glitter.) depicts the Eye of Horus or "Oudjat" Eye of Tutankhamun.

It reproduces the pendant found on the mummy of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun. The design consists of the eye of Horus, symbol of the entire body, flanked by the serpent goddess of the North Wadjet and the vulture goddess of the South Nekhbet.

The Eye of Horus is a powerful protective symbol, used for millennia to protect physical integrity and health. Placed in a home, it protects the living space and provides protection. Today, the Eye of Horus continues to inspire fascination and respect. It is commonly associated not only with protection, but also with intuition and clairvoyance.

This original wall decoration very nimbly captures the color palette of ancient Egypt made of blue Lapis Lazuli, turquoise, gold and red, the color of carnelian, using intense pigments and splendid highlights.

This protective papyrus easily finds its place in an entrance hall, a living room, a bedroom or an office. It goes perfectly in all types of interiors, from the most refined to the most opulent. It is a refined gift for those who seek to embellish their environment with originality and elegance, are sensitive to communion with nature, to ancestral wisdom or to Egyptology.
